c̓əsnaʔəm is the name of Musqueam land, where it is now known as Marpole to the general public. One of our managed assets—Milltown Marina—is located in the Marpole area. c̓əsnaʔəm has special significance to us, as it is one of the named places that our ancestors lived and practiced their culture and way of life.

MCC is aware of the disheartening events that took place last week. We support the Musqueam Indian Band and our members in protecting this sacred site and are working to have these banners replaced immediately. We appreciate the Marpole Community and their show of support over this past weekend with the hearts and kind words.
