Chris is the Development Coordinator supporting the Real Estate team. His experience includes urban planning and development advisory. He holds a Masters in Community and Regional Planning from the University of British Columbia. Chris is passionate about helping the Musqueam Nation achieve long term economic sustainability through real estate development.
Nicole Point supports the MCC team as the Administrative Assistant and has strong ties to the community as part of the Point and Sparrow families. Nicole has strong communications skills and her background includes working at Native Court and helping those in need. Nicole is honored to support her community in any way possible.
Donal is the HR Assistant at MCC. He provides HR support for MCC, University Golf Club, Milltown Marina & Boatyard, Musqueam Golf & Learning Academy. He is responsible for maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of HR files, documentation, and assists with the recruitment process, new hire orientation and the performance management process. He also assists with payroll functions including processing, answering employee queries, and fixing process errors. Donal received his BSc in Human Resource Management from Technological University Dublin, and he also has gained a great deal of HR experience working in various HR Departments within a number of American Multinationals.
Troy MacBeth Abromaitis serves as a Senior Development Manager at Musqueam Capital Corporation, with nearly two decades of experience in real estate across Western Canada. As a proud member of the Lytton First Nation, he played a pivotal role in assisting his community with rebuilding efforts after the devastating wildfires of 2021. Troy’s experience spans master-planned communities, residential, mixed-use, and rental projects. Formerly the President of the Real Estate Institute of British Columbia, he is set to become the President of the Canadian Home Builders – Fraser Valley. Troy holds a B. Tech in Management from BCIT, along with a Diploma of Urban Land Economics and PGCV from UBC.
Della is the Junior Accountant for the Finance & Accounting team and a proud Musqueam Member. She is the AP clerk and brings her experience working in the Musqueam Indian Band Finance Department.
Amy is an Intermediate Accountant for the Finance & Accounting team and is the AP supervisor. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and is pursuing her CPA designation.
June is the Accounting Manager for the Finance & Accounting team and oversees the accounting team and oversees the preparation of financial statements and summaries, financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. She has strong financial tech skills and stays up to date with current accounting standards. June holds a CPA and CGA designation, as well as as Masters in Science.
Camille is the CRM Administrator for the Business Development Team and a Musqueam community member. She oversees the CRM database and key portfolios and supports the teams with her administrative and customer relations experience. Camille also has a background in fashion merchandise and marketing.
Sandra is the Community & Client Relationship Officer for the Business Development team. She connects long standing partners to the Musqueam community through employment & training, education and other social departments. Sandra works closely with Musqueam Member Owned Businesses to assist in facilitating contracting opportunities or business advisory services. She also conducts networking opportunities through Corporate and Community events.
Dexter is the Valuation Analyst for the Real Estate team and is actively engaged in real estate investment and acquisition analysis, appraisals, sourcing funding opportunities, and assists with operation analysis for assets. He is an Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute, P.App, AACI, and has a background in real estate project analysis and due diligence on projects in the USA and Mainland China. Dexter has completed Canadian Securities courses, UBC/AIC Post Graduated Certificate in Real Estate Valuation, and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Nevada.
Jean is the Asset & Leasing Manager for the Real Estate Team and is responsible for overseeing leasing and property management activities. She has extensive knowledge within the real estate industry and years of experience in multiple asset classes across Canada. She also has proven success in developing systems, processes, and mentoring others to ensure best practice management. Jean is focused on our rapidly growing portfolio, championing new initiatives/technologies with an emphasis on sustainability.
Richard is the Project Manager for the Real Estate team and brings a significant background in heavy civil, commercial, and residential construction. He has a keen eye for safety and quality, along with boots on the ground experience.
Richard is also a Musqueam member (part of the Sparrow family) and has been playing for Musqueam sports team recreationally and competitively from a young age. Richard is giving back to the community that provided support to him in his youth and as a young adult.
Joseph has managed land development and capital projects for over 25 years. His experience includes design and construction of mixed-use master planned communities, industrial and commercial developments, and site servicing. Joseph obtained his BSc in civil engineering from Queen’s University and MBA from SFU.
Justeen is the Head of People and Purpose, bringing over 25 years of diverse human resources, finance, payroll and recruiting experience to the team. She has managed the human resources and finance functions in small to mid-size companies in industries including IT, non-profit, public sector, retail, and health and safety services.
Justeen is responsible for human resources operations at Musqueam Capital Corporation, University Golf Club, Musqueam Golf & Learning Academy and Milltown Marina.
Jay is the Director of Business Development and a proud Musqueam member. Jay has extensive experience in managing projects in the maritime, building trades, and career development sectors – often with multiple partners including First Nation communities – Indigenous service providers, industry sector groups, regulating bodies, technical training institutions and governmental groups.
Jay has worked with over forty First Nation groups across Canada, and assisted thousands of Indigenous peoples in establishing careers in key sectors such as building trades, maritime and energy.
John is the Chief Financial Officer of Musqueam Capital Corporation. John has worked in both for-profit and non-profit organizations and has as wealth of experience managing finance and administration in real estate development, construction, fund management, and capital markets.
He has managed project finance for developments up to over $200 million in scale and has assisted in raising capital including equity, debt and structured finance solutions. John was previously the CFO for Musqueam Indian Band and has a diverse background and skills in financial management, planning and analysis.
Babu is the Vice President of Real Estate at Musqueam Capital Corporation. He has over two decades of professional Canadian real estate experience, as well as international experience, in design, development, construction and asset management on a wide variety of commercial real estate projects. These include multi family, office, industrial, retail, hospitality, land and mixed-use assets. He is an accredited professional in project management (PMP) and is a certified LEED AP and completed a Bachelor of Science and MBA in 1988.
Leslie is the Development Coordinator for the real estate team and provides support to the team as whole but primarily focuses on supporting the MIB IR2 Master Plan and future developments related to the Master Plan. As a Musqueam member, Leslie is keen to see her community thrive and is excited to be on the team that is instrumental in the future of those projects. Leslie’s previous work experience includes work with her nation’s leadership as well as both the provincial and the federal governments.
Brook is an Intermediate Accountant at MCC. She brings a strong attention to detail and passion for numbers and had previously worked at two of MCC’s operating assets. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a specialization in Accounting, her future plans include attaining a CPA designation. Brook has a passion for finance and is excited to be a part of the Musqueam Capital team.
Joyce is the Marketing & Communications Associate at MCC and is a real estate professional with extensive experience in brokerage, investment, development, management and investment funds. She has worked with some of the top teams in Vancouver and has strong competencies in real estate marketing, communications, sales and transactions, administration and non-profit housing. Joyce completed the Indigenous Canada course and Social Housing Management courses and has volunteered for various non-profits focused on social services, social housing development, health and fundraising for international community development projects.
Ana is the Development Manager at MCC and has considerable real estate development/project management experience working with real estate development firms in Metro Vancouver as well as international experience as an architect and developer in Brazil. Ana has an in-depth understanding of core development processes, including acquisitions, municipal approvals, product development, project management, pre-construction, value engineering, marketing, and sales. Excited to be a part of Musqueam’s Initiatives, Ana lends her skills to help secure the best future possible for all community members.
Paige is the Senior Development Manager for MCC. She is responsible for navigating projects through all development phases from conception to construction. Having previously worked on residential, mixed-use, rental and master-planned communities, Paige brings a wealth of knowledge to the real estate team. Paige is excited to support the Musqueam community as they look to develop land, self-govern, and progress towards a sustainable, resilient future.
Mike is the Director of Golf & Marina Operations and is the General Manager of University Golf Club (UGC) and Musqueam Golf & Learning Academy (MGLA). Mike has been the GM at UGC since 1998 and was the Head Golf Professional from 1994-1998.
Steve is the Chief Executive Officer of Musqueam Capital Corporation and he is responsible for overseeing Musqueam’s extensive real estate and asset holdings. His experience spans 30 years in senior finance and leadership roles in various industries in private and public companies.
Jessica is the Team Coordinator for the Business Development Team and provides support for meetings, communications and activities with partners, member-owned businesses, employment and training, suppliers and contractors, as well as administration and database management. She has strong organizational and interpersonal skills that is coupled with a background in administration, support services and hospitality. Henry F. Man is President and CEO of Magellen Developments (20/20) Inc., a company founded by him in 2004 to specialize in medium and high density urban real estate developments and related investments. Prior to starting Magellen, Mr. Man was the Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of Concord Pacific Group Inc. in Vancouver and Director and Chief Operating Officer of Concord Adex Developments Corp. in Toronto, where he played a pivotal role in the development of two of Canada’s largest high density master planned communities. Prior to his work in the real estate industry, Henry had a successful engineering and management career with British Petroleum Canada in Calgary.
Henry is on the Board of the Musqueam Capital Corporation. He is the Vice Chair of the Providence Health Care Society Board, a member of the Building Commission of the Catholic Archdiocese of Vancouver, as well as a member of the Advisory Committee to the Dean of Engineering at UBC. Henry’s past directorships include the Canadian Club in Toronto, the past Chair of the St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation in Vancouver, Corpus Christi and St. Mark’s Colleges at UBC, the St. George’s School in Vancouver, and the Community Care Foundation in Vancouver. He was a recipient of Business in Vancouver’s Top 40 under 40 Achievement Award.
Mr. Man obtained his Engineering degree from UBC in 1983 and his MBA (Finance) from the University of Calgary in 1991.

Rennie is currently on the Board of Trustees and the School at the Art Institute of Chicago, is the recipient of the Queen’s Diamond and Golden Jubilee awards, the Order of British Columbia and has a doctorate from Emily Carr University.
Chair of the Musqueam Capital Corp. Board Finance & Audit Committee and member of the Human Resources Committee, Denise is a seasoned leader with 30 years of experience in commercial real estate spanning senior responsibility for operations, finance and legal. She is principal of Bravura Business Solutions, a recognized leader in governance advisory and contract executive services. Past positions include executive vice president of TitanStar Properties Inc. and co-principal of the IAT Group of Companies, where she helped build the Canadian and American business and assisted in taking privately held Canadian real estate assets public by way of one of Canada’s first income trusts. Her extensive experience on numerous Boards includes currently serving on the Board of DIRTT Environmental Solutions Ltd., and past positions which include past Board Chair for Community Living BC, an $850 million Crown corporation, and a founding director and Board Vice Chair of the BC Provincial Health Services Authority, where she participated in the formation of Board governance and helped oversee the creation of an entirely new organization comprised of eight major provincial agencies. She holds a director designation (ICD.D) with the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Norm Shearing has been involved in some of Vancouver’s largest real estate developments – most notable, the planning and redevelopment of the Expo Lands, the Coal Harbour Bayshore property and the River District. An Architect, and LEED Accredited Professional, Norm is a former Chair of the Vancouver Urban Design Panel and a recognized champion of sustainable developments that reflect values of community well-being through the design and placement of structures in relation to the natural environment. Norm’s leadership expertise has helped transform brownfield sites into thriving, well-loved residential communities. An experienced consensus-builder, Norm believes strongly in engaging with stakeholders and consultation as a means of addressing complex urban issues. His collaborative leadership style and his ability to move organizations forward transition well into board rooms and community centres where he reinvests his time and care in community building – a commitment he has made consistently for more than twenty years. A former Director of Canadian Green Building Council and Smart Growth BC, Norm continues as a sustainability champion as President, Dockside Green Limited where he is responsible for the ongoing development of the award winning Dockside Green neighbourhood located in Victoria’s inner harbour.
Norm received his undergraduate degree from SFU and continued his education completing a degree from UBC’s school of architecture.
Allyson Fraser has been elected Councillor since December 2001 and has served six consecutive two-year terms. Allyson is the Executive Assistant for the Musqueam Legal/Taxation Department and holds a Para Legal Certification from Capilano University; Budget Based Tax Rate Setting Certification from the First Nations Tax Administrators’ Institute and Property Tax Policy Certification from Simon Fraser University. In administering Tax Policies, she believes in maintaining fair and efficient property tax regimes and ensures our community and the Musqueam Tax Payers alike, receive the maximum benefits. Allyson has a commendable history in working with First Nations, Aboriginal organizations and the Federal Government and her areas of expertise also include Land Management and Indian Registry Reporting.
Allyson has worked as a Regional Technician on the Aboriginal Lands Advisory Board and has also served on several Committees of Council (eg: Housing, Education, Employment & Training, Lands, Public Works and Self-Governance.)
Allyson is a member of the Grant and Point family and takes pride in the Culture and Traditions of the Musqueam people. She has two children and two grandchildren. Over the years, Allyson received foster parenting certification and fostered a number of children.
Mr. Charles is privileged to serve as a Council Member for the Musqueam Indian Band for the last 26 years and has played an active role on council committees dealing with substantive treaty, lands and finance issues. He is currently an Associate with Kealey and Associates and also serves as a director for the Musqueam Capital Corporation, the Fraser River Discovery Center and previously the Fraser Basin Council. He has been involved in policy analysis and negotiations for the private sector that has resulted in joint venture projects with First Nation communities. Mr. Charles also rounds out his expertise as a member of the Board of Trustees for the $20.M – Musqueam 2010 Olympic Legacy Trust, on behalf of the Musqueam Indian Band. He has accumulated enough credits at The Justice Institute of British Columbia in Conflict Resolution Specializing in Negotiation to qualify for Certification and will continue his pursuit of Professional Development at JIBC; he has gained a wealth of knowledge of contemporary Aboriginal issues through courses at the Banff Centre of Excellence and he recommends that any aspiring FN’s leader attend the Banff Centre. Nolan has also placed 3rd out of 50 contestants at Yuk Yuk’s Vancouver’s Search for New Talent in Stand-Up Comedy and is very honored to be working with the British Columbia Golf Association to promote the Future Links program.
We are pleased to announce that Jane Koh has joined us as Development Manager. She will be focusing on the IR2 Master Planning Project amongst other projects and comes with a wealth of experience. Jane has worked in the private sector for both consulting firms and private developers and has been actively involved in the Vancouver Real Estate Industry. Jane is a Registered Professional Planner with a Masters from UBC’s School of Community and Regional Planning.
